One of the primary benefits of membership in IAADFS is eligibility to participate in the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas. Future exhibit space assignments will be processed according to a priority system based on each company's prior participation in the show. An Invitation to Exhibit will be sent to supplier members at the end of August 2010. Exhibitor space applications are due by Friday, October 1, 2010.
The smallest exhibit space that we offer is a 10 ft x 10 ft (or 3m x 3m) space, and the cost of exhibit space will be USD $18.50 per square foot. The price of space rental includes rental of the floor space, all onsite freight handling, one wastebasket per 10 ft x 10 ft space, and daily cleaning of the booth (emptying wastebaskets and vacuuming of the booth). This price does not include the actual booth, walls, carpeting, shelves, display cases, or other furnishings, so exhibitors may bring their own booth (if it conforms to our design regulations) or may rent a standard or upgraded booth from our official services contractor, Freeman. More information about booth rental, shipping, and other exhibitor details will be included in the Exhibitor Service Manual to be available online to all confirmed exhibitors in December.
While exhibit space for the show is traditionally offered only to association members, we have a program in which we can offer select non-member companies the opportunity to exhibit in the show for one year on a test basis. Companies that participate in this program may do so for one year only, after which time they would have to apply and be accepted for membership with IAADFS before exhibiting in or attending any future IAADFS show. Please note that only IAADFS members will be listed in the IAADFS Exhibitor and Membership Guide. If you are not a member of IAADFS but are interested in exhibiting in the 2011 show, please contact our office to inquire further about this program. Non-member companies pay a slight surcharge on the member cost of exhibit space and are assigned space only after the exhibit needs of current members have been met.
