Who May Attend the Duty Free Show of the Americas?
Participation in the Duty Free Show of the Americas is open to IAADFS members, operators of duty free stores, other qualified buyers, and authorized members of the duty free trade press.
Supplier Member Registration
IAADFS supplier members may register their employees, brand owners, and duty free distributors only. All registrations must be under the IAADFS member company name.
Exhibitors should pre-register models, hostesses, and other stewards, or arrange to meet them at the IAADFS registration area to register them at the show.
Concessionaire Member Registration
IAADFS concessionaire members may register their employees and buyers, but may not register their suppliers for the show.
Press registration is available to companies that publish magazines or other publications that give significant editorial coverage to the duty free industry. Press representatives who have attended the IAADFS show previously are automatically pre-qualified to register for this year’s show; other interested members of the press should contact the IAADFS office for assistance.
Buyer registration for the show is open to owners and operators of duty free and travel retail stores and their employee buyers. Buyers who have attended the IAADFS previously are automatically pre-qualified to register for this year’s show; others can contact the IAADFS office for assistance.
Important Note about Registering Buyers
IAADFS makes a distinction between distributors and buyers. If an IAADFS supplier member is inviting their distributors to attend the show, these distributors must register under the supplier member company’s name unless they are IAADFS members. The buyer registration category is reserved for owners and operators of duty free and travel retail stores and employee buyers from these stores.
If you plan to invite duty free/travel retail store buyers and owners, do not register them under your company name. Instead, ask them to contact the IAADFS office to register.
